Re: Big problems

Yes it has to be 2GB or less and formatted FAT32
I always find my original 512MB works perfect for flashing from

as to how to get it to your card...

Extract the ROM you want to use
Find the largest *.NBH file and copy it to your desktop
at the desktop rename it to VOGUIMG.NBH (I believe the caps in naming is important)
Copy that file to the root of your formatted FAT32 2GB or less SD Card
enter bootloader mode and it should go from there

Re: Big problems

I did that and it recognized it and after that it went right back to being stuck on the boot screen (htc)

Re: Big problems

OK, did it flash to completion then reboot and then get stuck at boot screen or get to like 20% then reboot and its stuck ...

Either way lets review again what levels and steps done...

Radio is at 3.42.30 or 3.42.50?

Flashed to stock, hard reset then custom ROM flash attempt?

No it got all the way through then power cycled then went back to the same screen. By the way thank you so much for your feedback and help. I've been on other forums and they have a tendency to just blow you off and not help at all. So i'm truly greatful. I'm waiting for it to charge then I'll retry. If you want to email me feel free to it's johnnyboy14981@yahoo. Thanks again but I have to get to bed. But I'll be back on as son as I can. Have a great evening.

OK, let me get all the info on your situation I can, I asked this already originally but havent seen an answer and that can help out alot in trying to figure out whats happening

Your phone is a HTC Vogue?

You unlocked your phone with ImCokeMans 2.31 unlocker?

Your radio is at a level compatable for a custom ROM, 3.42.30 or higher?

Your using a Vogue ROM? Which one?

When you can answer them and we can move on to whats going on

Yes it's an htc vogue from Verizon. It is unlocked with cokeman's unlocker the radio is compatible and I'm trying to go back to the standard sprint rom, which I had working prior to this. When I did the method suggested here (VOGUEUIMG.nbh) it went through completely and went right back to the same screen. It's stuck on the screen that says "htc smart mobility" At this point I don't know what else to do. I've done a hard reset and about every other suggestion on the board. I know the phone is not bricked I just have to figure out a way to bring it back to life. And I can't stress (and I know I say this every time) how grateful I am for the help...

Re: Big problems

To ALL OF YOU THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH. I put the phone in boot loader and pulled up a rom I had on my comp and it loaded. I guess I never realized you can load a rom from your pc when the phone is in bootloader. I've been doing this for awhile now and this one truly made me feel retarted. If there is anything I can do to help you guys out please let me know. Thanks again.

LOL I had thought that was tried already - figures...

If you learned something and increased your experience (and clicked the thanks button LOL) help someone else when they ask

This forum is phone users helping other users so pass the help and as far as Im concerned its all good :)
