Sprint Touch to Verizon
 

Evening everyone! I've gone out and picked up my first HTC Touch from a craigslist seller and I'm trying to get it activated on Verizon.

First off, I've gone through the QPST stuff... and set my MSL to 000000 to unlock the phone... I've cooked up a 6.5 rom using PPCKitchen and set all my stuff to Verizon. Everything should have gone smoothly.. but then the dreaded Sprint voice came on.

So I'm stuck, I have access to the MSL and QPST options... I just don't know how to make it dial to the Verizon towers rather than the Sprint towers when I do *228

I've called Verizon and tried to get them to activate it with no luck... they've flagged my account at this point because I've called in to get it working.

Any other ideas? Or should I just drop it back on Craigslist?

Hey that is an easy fix, you just have to load he right PRL, make a search for 51099.prl . I an stuck trying to get Verizon to take my Sprint ESN.
