Paying $30 for a $15 service

does anyone know of a way to JUST have data (internet) on my XV6900 (Verizon)? i don't want to pay for the email that i dont use and Verizon won't activate it without their "Smartphone Plan"...

$15/month - Something like ~5MB/month limit
$30/month - Unlimited Data w/o Verizon's Push Mail
$45/month - Unlimited Data w/ Verizon's Push Mail

You're already saving for fifteen a month if you don't use Verizon's email service... sorry to break it to ya buddy :)

Unless things have changed they should. I am in your exact situation. I have had may Vogue for about 2 1/2 months now & I only have a phone plan. I wanted the Touch Pro but couldn't without a data plan. I use it for work & that is the only reason. I will never get service with Verizon for personal use. THEY SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!

the only way to do that is to change esn to one from "regular phone" (i.e. on verizon, one that doesn't require data plan) and just activate vcast vpack feature for $15 a month.
Unfortunately we are not aloud to discuss this topic here.

With the right Sprint plan you get unlimited wandering in the USA.

heh i agree with the move to sprint, although i feel i'm over-charged as f*ck.. i have never had a problem with reception, gps going out, or internet not working [short of roaming] so.. i guess they ARE pretty good..

oh and ps their customer service has gotten better, my aunt doesnt work there anymore lmao.
