Its a regedit, I dont know it off the top of my head
Look through the various GPS threads or search for disable aGPS and you will find the settings

Also, the majority of GPS apps use data to download the maps on the fly (google maps, live search, gpstoday, etc) so they seem pretty useless without a data connection. If you want pure, unadulterated gps data like coords, bearing, speed, direction, distance travelled, blah blah blah, GPSutilities is the way to go, assuming that by this point you have disabled AGPS.

I have been having the same problem ( error code 11 ).
I do the *228 (VZW) and go to connections set up the data connection again. I am on 6.1 and have the Valhalla
gps setup. Stock VZW rom. It seems like I start having these error codes and loss of data connection about 15-20
minutes after I use gps and Google maps.
Wouldn't supprize me if VZW is trying to mess with the AGPS with something in the EVDO PRL.
