How do I get Activesync to work?

do you want to do a hard reset or make activesync work? 2 different things

Hard reset is resetting the phone back to factory specs or the last ROM you flashed your phone to if your running a custom ROM

that is done by pressing and holding the red and green buttons at the same time while pressing the tip of your stylus in the reset hole and holding them in place until the gray screen comes up

As for activesync, you will need a bit more detail as to it...
are you running a stock or custom ROM?
Are you running activesync or Windows Mobile Device Center?
will it not come up at all when you plug in the phone?
is there an error or nothing at all?

Is doing a hard reset the same as going to settings and hitting clear storage? I have done the clear storage and it clears ever thing and reloads things, so is it the same or what is different?
