PPCGeeks - Phone doesn't get signal until reset

I have had my touch since July, and I have had a ton of problems with it lately. The biggest problem I am having currently is a signal issue. I do not get signal in one of my classes, and after leaving the class my phone will never re-aquire a signal unless I soft reset. This is very annoying because I have to reset my phone 2-3 times a day. The phone acts like it is in airplane mode, usually it will show the tower icon but have no bars...then after a reset I have full signal again. I am unable to make/receive calls or texts until I reset either.

I am really unimpressed with the reliability of this phone. I hard reset the phone around thanksgiving and I have kept it stock since then, and it is still giving me problems. I have the latest official sprint rom installed, and my radio is up to date. Should I file an insurance claim and try and get a diamond? or is the diamond just as bad/worse than this phone? I am almost tempted to venture into iPhone land because my phone gives me so many problems daily...
