GPS does not work
 

Downloaded Google Latitude and installed it. Program works good except I cannot get it to find the gps. I went to settings - gps- and com4 in in the dropdown box and Manage gps automatically checked in access screen. What am i doing wrong? Oh and the data connection is on as I noted in one of the posts before this one.

I found a nice little app called GPSToggle. It installs on your today screen and you can turn your GPS on and off. This helped me to at least know my GPS was on.

go to settings>phone>services>location settings and make sure thats turned on. also what carrier do u have? not sure about all of them but alltel required you upgrade to windows mobile 6.1 before you could use gps. so carrier and rom may be important.

I do have Alltel and that must be the problem. I have windows 6.0.
I'll have to search to see how to upgrade to 6.1.
