Ringtone technical question
 

I've had no trouble getting a custom ringtone working. I would like to understand how they are implemented from a timing standpoint.

ASSUME a 1 second long tone ... how often is it repeated and for how many periods?

ASSUME a 3 second long tone ... same ... etc for longer ones

I'm after the system used.
