Alternative to SKYFIRE
 
Can someone tell me how to make INTERNET EXPLORER work like skyfire, because skyfire will not work on my vogue using cricket internet, or something, not sure why, but how do i make flash and java aps work in internet explorer?

use opera mini for speed, and opera mobile + flash lite 3.1 for flash (doesnt support all sites though)

Hey Cricket guy asking Cricket related questions to people who could care less. I'm surprised you got any answers at all.
These guys are being nicer than usual. But seriously, I'll actually try to help. First off Skyfire won't work for us because our internet works through a proxy server, something Skyfire doesn't support. Because of the inherent way Skyfire is made there will never be proxy support. Now mike20pr is right in that opera plus flashlite 3.1 will work but the right build of opera is crucial, I'm finding. You could save yourself a lot of trouble by flashing Conflippers latest Alltell manila rom. Opera will play YouTube vids right inside the browser. Most other sites will work too. Yes you too can amaze your friends (even on Cricket).

That was funny! I thought everyone knew how to make IE work exactly like Skyfire, hold down the green and red buttons and poke the reset button! Instant Skyfire....it's magic!

What bout IE6? It supports java but doesnt work with everything. However its slooooooooooooww.
