Phone has to go back to sprint
 

I have to bring my vogue in to the store and don't know how to get it back to stock. I'm running a custom rom cooked with build os w/GPS. I'm afraid if I flash a stock rom I'll brick it.

Any help's appreciated.

Flash back to the latest stock rom, you won't brick the phone. Once done, go into the bootloader and tell me what it says.

i would relock it also, only takes a minute.

all you gotta do is run .40 unlocker then flash latest stock and there you go...

I'm in the same position as the other guy. Is there a way i can go back to stock without taking back to store? If so, do i need to wait until i get to my desktop or can i just do it from my phone

phone works fine with stock rom but the bootloader reflects that it's still unlocked. 2.31 CoKe

If you aren't respectful and don't listen, people are going to stop trying to help you.

You can flash the stock ROM 20 times in a row if you want, but until you install .40 bootloader THEN flash the stock ROM, you're not going to get rid of the 2.31 bootloader.

That is your answer. If you don't like it, too bad.

i dont even bother changing the bootloader back. i just flash back to the OEM rom that is on the HTC site for your carrier and take it in.

I have to say that it is necessary for warranty purposes to change that boatloader....

2. flash a stock ROM

OK same deal, My phone has to go back to Sprint and I wanted to make sure it was ready.

Boot Loader Screen shows

VOGU100
SPL-2.01.0000
CPLD-3

Is this good? It was showing the 2.31 Coke before

As long as it doesn't say 2.31 Coke it should be perfectly fine.
