Speed up GPS?
 

Hey guys, i am looking for a tweak or regedit, anything to speed up the gps aquisition. It takes my phone about a minute or longer to find satelites. I am using 3.42.50 radio from bell. Please help

sounds fast to me, dont see a problem.

If you wanna speed up your gonna need a Primer but even then the Primer is going to have to lock up with the same sats.

I need a Primer too. I've heard of GPS VIEWER 1.5, but can't find a recent version to download.
Is there another Primer that would work... and be quick and easy to run before I start my TomTom software?

actually, i use gps viewer, not sure which ver, but it gets my gps up and going within about a minute to 2 minutes usually. but i have heard about making regedits that speed up gps aquisition, any truth to that? and how come it will take garmin 5-6 minutes to aquire gps lock, when it only take a minute or 2 when using gps viewer? whats the difference? dont they both run and start the gps hardware? thanks

quickGPS kicks a$$. mine loads up in about 10 seconds at most.
