Ghost Buttons

How many buttons do you have when you go into Settings>buttons ?
I have:
Button 1 (camera)
Button 1 (press and hold) voice dialer
and then 4, yes 4, "Button" that have " <Context Menu>" next to each.

When I go into HKLM\Software\microsoft\shell\keys , I have 40C1 through 40C6. (C1 and C2 are the same as Button 1 and Button 1 press and hold, respectively)

If I go into "Buttons" in settings, I can't do anything, as I get a message "Each program button must have a unique button assignment. Please select a different button assignment."

I have the stock Sprint ROM.

I think this might have happened after I tried to reload Sprint TV.

Any help would be appreciated, as I am trying to assign the button 1 press and hold to something else and it won't let me.
I think this may have

What programs are you running?

If nothing else, backup and hard reset.

I'm not running any programs. This happens when I go into "settings>buttons" and the only way to get out of that is to soft reset.

Yea, if I were you, I'd backup my files with something like PIM backup, and then do a hardreset. That should solve your problems.

I'd like to bring this one back from the dead. It seems WinMo let this one slip. On my stock sprint tp2, if go into Settings>Buttons, I have 5 choices to change; 1. 'send key hold' 2. button 3. button 4. button and 5. button. What the hell are those? When I try to back out of that nonsense, it says that each button needs an individual assignment, not just <context menu>. So I can either soft-reset or change a bunch of random unknown buttons. What's up with that?

Interesting. Have you unlocked and flashed a custom rom and then gone back to the stock rom or have you always ran stock? May be leftover from something you installed. Have you asked any other members here if they have the same options? Can you hard reset and see if those options are still there? Is something acting weird? Do you want to reassign any buttons? Is it worth it to try to get rid of these options?

Haven't unlocked yet, had a ton of apps/tweaks installed, so I hard reset and then installed MyPhone. I doubt it's MyPhone but maybe it's left over from something else, gonna hard reset again....
