GPS there...now gone. Shadow please help
 

Problem 1)
I had my Alltel Touch GPS running smoothly after the WM 6.1 update and doing shadows AGPS fast lock fix. After a month or so I had a crash and did a hard reset, then restored my touch with sprite backup software. When I tried to use GPS it didn't work. I then remembered the settings that had to be made through QPST and when I checked they had not been restored. I went through all the steps again of Shadows fix and double checked my registry values to make sure they were correct, but still no GPS.

I should clarify it is the fastlock that no longer works. I haven't left it outside in one spot long enough to see if it eventually locks, but it google maps and windows live both appear to be connecting to the reciever without a problem and try to acquire a postion.

So after a night of much needed sleep I discovered my on problem. The Location setting in comm manager was set to off. It suprised me that my backup software didn't replace this default setting.
Regardless, my AGPS is back and running with almost immediate lock and tracking 7-10 sats.
