Opera 9.5 Issue

I recently installed Opera 9.5 build 15316 and have noticed that it keeps changing my default keyboard from Touchpal to the tiny microsoft QWERTY. Is there some fix for this? Nothing I've tried seems to work....

as far as i know, this is a known issue with this browser, and while there is no fix for this, there are builds of it that will not automatically default to the tiny qwerty (but it will still only type the numbers/symbols if say you are using a non qwerty kb). i've tried a lot of different builds so don't hold me to this, but i think 2392 is the one I am using and it allows me to use the full qwerty without defaulting back to the tiny one.

I don't think its Opera because build 2392 is causing the same problem as all the others. For the life of me, I can't get Touchpal to stay the default SIP....

I'm beginning to think it isn't an issue of having the right Opera build. I think your setup works because you have all the components built into your ROM. I couldn't get it to work on NFSFAN's ROM because I had to use UC to get the programs in. However, when I deconstruct OMJ's ROM and then cook Touchpal and SIPchange in, Touchpal stays the default Keyboard. Wierd, huh?

By the way, do you use a kitchen to make your ROM or do you assemble them manually?

i should point out that i am also using nfsfan's rom and have never had the issue of the keyboard defaulting to the tiny one with his rom.

I use Vetvito's kitchen... A lot more manual then PPCKitchen lol
You have to mess with the files and make sure everything is right and there arent any duplicates and all registry settings are right and then you run the batch file and it will run G'reloc and all the other files.. I know what needs to be run manually but this is easier :D haha

Does that mean your ROM can be deconstructed using Rstoyguy's vogue kitchen tools?
