undo a delete?
 

Ok, I have a 4 gig memory card and somehow a 2nd DCIM folder was created (on the card, not the device). It was identical to the 1st DCIM folder, and had exactly the same photos in it. Since there were 600+ pics in it I figured I could save some room on the card and delete one of them. BIG mistake. Now all pics are gone from both DCIM folders (only one DCIM left). The remaining folder was completely empty. Tried a backup/ restore but I didn't back up the DCIM folder on the card I guess because I can't locate it when trying a restore.
I have an Alltel touch anyone know if it's possible to undo that delete, or restore the files? They are pretty important to me (should have transferred them to my PC!!) so I am willing to explore almost any options. Thanks.

SKTools will undelete, first check the trash folder. If it is a card you can use a card reader and an undelete program on your pc to recover files on your card.

I will try a file recovery tool on your pc to recover files on your card, try not to safe any new information on the SD card though, otherwise you'll be risking overwritting the eraced files, then will be imposible to recover. Good luck.

ok thanks for the info, will any of these options work on the ppc itself, i don't have a reader. and where will i find the trash bin on the card I've never seen it. Would that be the deleted files folder on the device? Thanks again.

Iam not sure you can do that from your ppc itself (you might, but i dont know if is possible), but with the recovery tool from your pc you select the drive that you wish to recover delete files from.
