XV6900 HTC Touch 6.1 ROM Call Ignore Button Not working?
Hi all,
I flashed the prerelease but not released Verizon 6.1 ROM on my XV6900. A few quirks but decent and got the GPS going. If you leave the mail application open, it will give you an error on IMAP accounts every so often. Anyway to the problem, when I receive a call, and I press the Ignore soft button, it keeps ringing and does not send to voicemail. In fact it makes the other Answer soft button not work. I can press the raised End Call hard button and that will at least silence the call but it does not send it to vmail and it will ring (in the callers ear) the 5-6 times and stay on my screen not letting me bypass it. Strange. It worked well in 6.0. Certainly 6.1 is more responsive. Thank you to anyone in advance. Mike |
Re: XV6900 HTC Touch 6.1 ROM Call Ignore Button Not working?
I have the Sprint Touch, (Model No. MP6900SP) and I am running the stock 6.1 ROM. I had the same problem as you, except every once in awhile it didn't matter if I touched the soft "ignore" button, the soft "answer" button, or either of the hard buttons. The phone would basically freeze.
I had S2U2 loaded on it, and someone said I should do two hard resets and don't load S2U2 on it again. I did that, and it cured the problem. For awhile. It started doing the freeze thing again about a week ago. I deleted several programs I hadn't used in a while and . . . knock on wood . . . it seems to be working okay now. I wish there was a sure-fire fix for this because, otherwise, I really like my Touch. |
