You have to use a program like total commander to overwrite the .xml...

when i did it through TC, it didnt ask me to override it. it did it with no notification. i was aple to tell that it was done as the .xml file i was using was smaller than the original. then soft reset and it worked.

There is no need to overwrite anything. Simply open up TotalCmdr and go to the HH 0409 WeatherCities xml. Click on 'File' and then 'Edit'. Scroll to where your city should be alphabetically and use the 'Enter' key to create a new blank line. Use the space bar to line up your entry and enter your city in the EXACT same format as the other cities listed, paying attention to spaces and punctuation marks. If you know your cities' NAM code great, but if not the zip code works just as well. Click 'File' then 'Save' and close out of TC. Usually your city should be ready to go right off the bat, but if you don't see it at first simply soft reset and it will be there. Hope I helped.

I'm using TC current and it says the file is too big and only supports 64K files, How is this working for you?
