Plzzzzz Help!!!!!
 

I have an alltel htc touch vogue that i have unlocked and put sprint rom on. I just changed to sprint and when i called sprint to do a device swap they asked for my vogue dec esn #. I gave it to them and of course they said it was not registered in their system and it could not be used. Is this true or is their a way around it. I really love my touch and dont want to have to buy another.

They will not accept that touch as their touch. If you are new to Sprint though you would get a great deal on a new phone anyway.

I would go to sprint store,and you might get lucky.They can do it for sure,but not everybody will do it!!! I had similar situation few months ago,went to one store,they told me sorry bla bla bla,I went to another one,and young asian guy did it within 2 minutes!

thanks for the suggestions guys, i talked to tech support again and they tried to tell me it just wont work with their system but i know thats bogus, if you can switch from sprint to alltel, it has to work in the other direction as well.

if you can't get sprint to take the esn from the altel touch you need to "repair the altell esn to hopefully another sprint touch esn "phone no longer working" or just any sprint esn" like maybe your own working sprint esn good luck p.s. there might be a issue with the MSL

you've got to understand that they are doing thier job of trying to sell you a phone.but if you are a new customer,you can get one for $49.99.

buying a new one for $49 is untrue. I talked to customer service and they no longer carry the vogue or mogul. They now only carry the diamond for $249 with activation and pro for $299. Thats a much bigger stretch then 49 and if it were that easy i would have already bought one. I trying to exaust every angle before biting the bullet and spending the cash! Plus, i have read many reviews on the new htc and it seems alot of original touch people prefer it over the diamond or the pro. I guess my next step will be to go to the stores and try to find someone that may be able to find me a backdoor. I,m am almost certain it could be done! Plus i already bought 3 rumors just to port over and activate the lines so its not like they didnt get a sale out of me.

you could always get a free phone, and clone the numbers...i have heard of it working....in no way am i saying this is legal...so do it at your own risk
