Deleting Games and Applications
 

Does anyone know how to delete games such as solitaire and bubble breaker from the phone? And how to remove certain applications as well. I tried to go to the remove programs tab, but games are not displayed there. Any help? Thanks in advance.

im pretty sure you cant, there on the rom. are you on stock rom?

No, I am using a custom ROM. So the games and apps are embedded into the ROM?

Well, the ROM I flashed has games that I don't play....like Solitaire, Frogger, Chess....etc. So to save some space and to make the phone run a little faster, I wanted to delete them. I also wanted to delete programs such as MP3 Trimmer, Music ID, etc. But I cant find an uninstaller or a different way to delete these files.
So basically the ROM came with these things on it, but I want to modify it now and delete some of the stuff since I never use some of the programs and games.

Its gonna be difficult,you dont wanna mess with the ROM files.If you dont like all that stuff just flash it with clean ROM,not Full ROM.There are many custom ROMs

Agreed. The reason they are in the ROM is because that is the "inaccessible" area. It is where the carriers put files and programs that they don't WANT removed. Try a reflash from the kitchen and be sure to unselect the games and programs that you don't want.

I have taken to only doing bare minimum ROMs and just adding the programs I want later. ( I have them all in a folder labelled "New Install" on my storage card. So when I flash I just open that folder and start installing.)

All you have to do is delete the *.lnk files from \Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Games and you will never know the difference! And until that type of program is ran, it won't slow down your device any at all....
