Replace Touch with Mogul?
 

After replacing my Touch 5 times for the same problem Asurion now wants to send me a Mogul. What do you all think about this? Is is fair? I don't know anyone with a Mogul nor have I ever seen one in person. Worth it? Argue for something else? Let me hear some opinions.

Well, if you want a device with a hardware keyboard and WiFi but half of the RAM then go for it. Otherwise they are the exact same device. I had a Mogul before I got the Touch and have never looked back.

What recurring problem are you having, may I ask?

My browser keeps crashing. I think it's a cache problem. I know I can work around it, but I just believe in getting what you paid for. That being said I don't want to switch phones if the Mogul is a downgrade. I do however like the idea of having a hard keyboard. Wifi doesn't matter to me. Will I really notice the RAM difference? I don't really multitask. Just surf the web, calls, text..normal stuff.

You will notice the ram difference. Going from a Mogul to a Touch was a heavenly mistake. You might like the keyboard, but I don't go through as many texts as other people do. I text about 600 texts per month, so I don't find losing the keyboard as much of a deal breaker. What I do miss from the Mogul was the WiFi, which I made use of with WMWifiRouter for internet for my laptop. I would try other roms before jumping ship to a different model.

I would never do that ... i would tell them to send send you a Diamond or a Touch pro .. but never a mogul ... i had it .. i liked it ... but now i'm in love with my touch...

Ok, so after a little conversation with a manager they have agreed to give me a Touch Diamond. I just couldn't get over the lack of RAM. I have to go to a Sprint store today to have them verify that my Touch is indeed broken again and my new phone should be on its way. I'll keep everyone posted. Thanks for the replies.

Well went to Sprint store. Getting a brand spanking new Diamond. Should be at my house Tuesday.

This is funny how there is the same thread in the Mogul forum. I want a Touch bad. I am SICK of my Mogul!
