Removing Icons..Help Plz..Anyone?
 
Hey guys,
I notice that when I delete some programs the icon still remains..its a blank icon that does'nt open when you click on it but I just cant get rid of it.

Does anyone know whats happening & could give me some good advice?

use total commander and go into windows and then programs and kill it there. tc link. http://www.ghisler.com/ clean up with memmaid http://www.dinarsoft.com/memmaid/

Device>Windows>Start Menu>Programs Delete the ICON of your chosing. You might want to look into a cleanup program. I will look for a link for you and edit the post when I do.

Thanks man....I did what you said & it worked...dont know why I didnt think of that....i'm waiting on your update with that clean up program

ClearTemp is free unlike MemMaid and works wonderful. I do like MemMaid though, you might wanna buy that program...

Instead of deleting programs, you should un-install them. Start>Settings>System>Remove Programs

That takes care of the Program and the shortcut.

I agree but also go to your file explorer-> device-> down to the-> windows folder....
this will take a sec then go down to the-> star menu folder... then enter the-> programs folder... go to the program which icon may remain and delete it... no problem/
