I recently received a refurbish touch(sprint) after my old Touch's screen gave up the ghost. Phone has basically been working fine except that called id does not work. When I receive an incoming call the lower half of the screen is just white, no phone number no name no anything. Even in my call logs all i see is an exclamation mark and a time no number. I can see the calls Ive made out but none of the incoming calls. Can anyone help me with this because because of my work schedule I would hate to have to go through the process of getting another refurbished phone. Thanks much.

Sounds like a bad one. Call *2 and get a replacement for the replacement, or take it into a store, and ask if they can swap it out. Since the Touch is EOL you shouldn't have a problem getting a replacement and chances are better in the store for a new one.

in the call log make sure the filter is set to all calls and not just outgoing...

ok thanks guys i guess i gotta go with the replacement and yes i do have the filter set to all calls.

I think downloading a new dialer skin is your best bet, might fix whatever underlying problem your seeing.
