Build a ROM without it would be the easiest way that I know.

use total commander to replace the file

i don't take credit for this, but this is what i did:

Quote:

Disable Cube
1. Replace the four files, BioTouch.exe, MediaHubMini.exe, AppLauncher.exe, and QuickDial.exe (using Resco Explorer) with the 0kb files found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=368269

Technically, you don't need these files to remove the cube, but it prevents them running in memory, takes a few MB.

2. Edit this registry value:
HKLM>Software>OEM>TFLOSettings>EnableCube
Set from 1 to 0

How is that the easiest way? Seems like the hardest. I was going to suggest getting a custom ROM, since it appears you don't have one and everyone should. I use NFSFAN's latest and will never go back to any other.

I think the registry edit is the easiest. I always get nervous replacing ROM-based files like that (though I have done it before without problems). Just editing the registry will allow you to not mess with too much and enable/disable edits are generally quite safe.

well you could just use the latest version of advance configuration tool... there a setting under touch flo, for the cube... change that to disable... thats probably the easiest

If Biotouch is disabled does this impact Touchflo, or are these mutually exclusive?

I believe you are disabling just for the install. I think you can enable it after you have installed m2d.
