K, not sure how many are on bell here but im gonna throw out a question..story first, i bought this phone with the bell unlimited internet because the girl/clerk/lying b**ch from hell said i can use it for my laptop modem, after awhile of not getting it to work i went back and asked someone else and they said no no no, your unlimited internet plan doesnt do that, why can i surf unlimited on the cell but not my laptop?? is there anyway around this or a method of using my laptop screen ? and why cant sales people be honest? if they told me i couldnt and that there was no mms i would have just bought a better phone, did i also mention im on my 3rd touch because of cracked cases and they wont warranty the new ones, they said my warranty date is only good for the first phone.....grrrrrrrrrrrrrr...k im done whehhwww!!

Strra is righ, PDANET is your saviour, usb or bluetooth internet sharing without hell mobility charging you for it, they will only see "browser usage".

Or you can try the custom rom by NFSFAN on the XDA website. I use this rom and it has been modified to bypass the tethering detection by Bell. Besides that feature the rom is fast and looks good.

pdanet rocks, i just have the trial but it works great!! no hassles whatsoever but ill have to check my contract to see if im gonna get nailed for using it... for now ill play dumb!

btw i'd recommend NFSFAN rom. im on it with bell and tether all the time for free :)

no needing to pay for PDANET or any extras. included in the rom.

I've used PDA Net with my Bell Vogue and an EEE PC for almost a year (now an Aspire One), and never been hit for tethering charges.

Also very cool? Running PDA Net and Franson.com GPS Gate which can send the GPS signal to your PC. Was going up the HWY 400 streaming a movie and tracking/mapping on Google Earth. Don't worry, I wasn't doing the driving. :)
