using conflippers release and i've noticed the picture preview tab is looking for photos in a different location from my camera album. m2d only shows pics in the main memory\my docs\my picture folder while i put all pics on my card. any thoughts on how to change m2d's link? can't find anything in the registry.

Here's the fix and a linkto a M2D FAQ. I used the regedit fix myself

Q. How do I to change the defualt Photo Album so it will display my pictures & videos stored on my memory card?
A. Navigate to the Photos and Videos tab in Manilla, press the left softkey "Album", press the left softkey again "Albums", press Storage Card, navigate/select where your pictures and videos are stored, press right softkey "Menu", select "Set Album as Favorite"... Done!
A. Reg Key Edit: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\HTCAlbum\ change favorite_folder from [CAMERA] to what ever location you want.

I tried doing this and it still doesn't show a picture preview when I go to the photo tab. When I click albums it goes right to the photo album on my card though.

Did you try the regedit or just the menu? I have not tested the menu option but I know the regedit works.

I tried just the menu. Is regedit a program to edit the registry or is just a file I can open up?

If I want to edit that registery setting. What should I place as for location?

Something like "/storagecard/folder/" or something else. Sorry for the noob question.

There are plenty of free registry editor programs out there. On my phone I personally use Task Manager v3.1 which in addtion to being a task manager has a registry editor built in. If you would rather use something from your PC, another that I use is Mobile Registry Editor. You can use that when you are connected to your PC via Active Sync then you launch it from your PC and you'll have a full view of your registry. Task Manager v3.1 can be a little cumbersome if you are doing a lot of regedits since you are working from your phone (small screen, keyboard, ect) Here's the path for my camera picture on my phone but check yours as it may not be the same

So in my registry under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\HTCAlbum\ I have edited that to be \Storage Card\DCIM\100MEDIA\

O normally don't post, kind selfish but this time I will because everthing that I tried find to fix on my phone it was on this site...Thanks guys you guys are amazing!!!!!
