Heya guy's

I have not had my Touch too long, and found this place.

I am having a problem, no mater what media player i try, either the audio is incompatable, and the player wont run, or they dont like the video.

i have tried several media players including 3 divx versions for mobile phones.

also i wanted to try the htc registry hack to speed up my htc, but i get access denighed after changing the value and hitting ok.

really starting to not like this phone.

please help?

What kind of media are you trying to ply? ie - what format?

Hello,

I found out why i could not make the reg edit changes stick, i had to unlock the registry...problem solved.

as for the media files i am trying to watch some avi files, but no player i have downloaded and tried will run, except the pockettv, but it only plays mpeg, so i tried converting an avi file to mpeg, still wouldnt play.

begining to think that its a hardware lock out by sprint and microsoft, so that you have to use microsofts media player! which wont play my movies either.

Hello,

I got one version of divx up and running, it will play the two demo videos just fine, but when i try to play scratt's missing adventure, it plays just with no sound.

i have looked for and ac3 filter but no luck finding one.

i should have mentioned i was looking for free apps and not the core player that is 29.00 bucks! i aint spending money for an app and not even know if it will work or not!
