unique problem?
 

Hey, I've been ramming through the forums the last week with no idea whats up with my phone yet..

Here's my problem
- i got a sprint branded Vogue that was in perfect working condition. (but i soon fixed that).
- i wanted to upgrade to the latest sprint ROM so as to get GPS and then run a custom ROM to get manilla 2d.
- went ahead read instructions and installed coke 2.31, no problem.
- ran the latest sprint SPRINT_WWE_3.03.651.4_2_Radio_3.42.30_AM_NV_2.04_S hip
- it booted and said no radio but finished customisation and when it rebooted Radio version was 3.42.30.
- run NFSFAN's Sprint 1.03 ROM.
- everything was ok except no service and no GPS lock..
- tried the method where you change the MSL to 000000.
(went well but no change)
- got rid of hard spl using spl 0.40 then flashed shipped sprint ROM twice
NO Service yet.
- loaded Tata's PRL, still no service..

any help to get my Vogue service back?????

I'm in Kenya and using Orange's CDMA offering, it uses RUIM cards and accepts any ESN, i dont have to register a new handset with them.
I'm not new to flashing, i've customised GSM HTC'S for a while but not expert level yet, but very NOOB to CDMA..

Willing to donate to whoever helps me fix it..

youv not got airplane mode ''on'' or phone ''off'' in settings do you?
Also go to settings>phone and scroll through those options and play with them

There's where you went wrong. Don't let another carrier's customizations run! You need significant low level help - and a working Orange phone to check settings against.

ok, lets see this through, i have an extra nokia phone where if i put in my Orange R-UIM card, it works. Can I use that?
Which brings me to another theory?
I think i need to enable the R-UIM slot in my vogue, any idea how I do that?
