Product review - Seidio extended battery + door.

As we all know with heavy use the Vogue's battery runs down pretty quick. I did buy this phone used, so my knowledge of battery usage is based on the one that came with it and it was the same age as the phone.

I did a couple of searches on this board, another board and the ebay thing and ended up on the Sedio site.

Purchased the following item(s):

The new battery + door definitely adds the 3-4 MM as stated on the item description and a little bit of weight due to the larger size of the battery.

I like the feel of the cover, it is rubberized and is easy to grip.

The buying process from Seidio was painless and shipping was a quick two days via USPS First class.

I haven't fully charged the battery and let it run down yet, will update the thread with the usage experience and thoughts.

The speaker hole does not have any surrounding inside so there is lots of space where the sound can bounce around. So I did this and it works good.. Hope it Helps.Sorry for bad pics.

TMZ,

That looks like a good idea I did notice the sound does "bounce" around a little inside the cover. What did you use to do that mod for the cover?

As for the rest of the review, I am definitely giving this two thumbs up.

The extra depth of the new door makes holding the phone for a voice call much easier, there's just a little more to hang on to and hold. I also noticed that it keeps me from touching my face when hold the phone up to my ear. This is good as I got a zit last week from my finger touching my face during calls...! :)

The battery life is awesome, obviously a bigger battery on it and it lasts much longer. It definitely worth the extra weight and the 3-4 MM that's added is no big deal.

All in all, much better and worth the $$ for sure.

I'd like to reiterate that the buying process and shipping times were great. I own an online business and Seidio does it just like we do.

Fast, accurate and with good communication to the buyer.

Geek owned and approved!
