I have a HTC Touch and I have a pretty new Laptop, i was wondering is it possible to tether my Touch to my laptop for internet connection and not get charged additional fees? id just use it for browsing the web, and my plan is the Sprint Everything plan.

i found out how to do the "wireless modem" way but like if i was just to browse forums and use AIM, like would i be able to use it all the time or should i just use it for short periods of time and a couple times a day? im new with this tethering thing and dont want to get hit with a fat bill lol.

Yes it is possible do you have a custom ROM or stock? Just wondering because you may need the ICS fix which I can make available for you...

you could also use pdanet from junefabrics.com ... it isn't free (they have a trial available) but it works really well.

i can connect using the ICS Fix and using Internet Sharing program through my programs folder but im on a Sprint Everything Plan and im wondering about average how much should i use it before it becomes noticeable and i start getting fatty bills haha. well any insight on this would be helpful =] thank you

what if i dont download stuff? or like what can i do to minimize the data transferred when i am browsing myspace,ppc,hofo,aim lol sorry im such a newbie at this =( and also does sprint have something on their site to see how much data ive used?
