Manila registry
 

I've been trying to install manila 2D on my Alltel HTC Touch, but the program tab won't work, even with the latest updates. I researched it, and I found out that my registry doesn't have any keys for the laucher tab. Can anyone give me the keys to the laucher tab?

The path to them is:

HKLM/Software/HTC/Manila2D/Launcher

Program tab, or the "all programs" softkey? To make the latter work, include folderview.exe in \windows.... Or use my OEM in the second post of my Custom OEM Request thread....

I"m not sure that it is even created until you add something to it....

Strange... putting folderview into /windows didn't fix it. After experimenting with manila tho, i found out that my people and weather tabs don't work either. I notice that I didn't download all of the programs that came with manila. I downloaded update 20. Is there something important those files that I needed to download?

Okay, I think I found out the issue... my phone keeps telling me that I don't have permission to install Manila 2D. Is there any way I can fix this?

did you disable your cube on your phone? ? i have the HTC Touch by sprint and i had to disable my cube 1st. then install update 20. i guess you can't have 2 cubes going they will conflict with one another.

Yeah, I disabled the cube, and I stopped the biotouch process with a task manager too.

After telling me a few times that I don't have permission, the phone goes on and lets me install it.

I just found out what the issue was; I didn't install all the access cabs for Manila 2D. It works now. Thanks for your help everyone!! :D
