Opera stopped working...

I'm having a problem with the factory-installed Opera browser that came with the Sprint ROM update has stopped work. Now when I open the program, it freezes and sends a report log to Microsoft. I'm wondering how I can either fix this problem or reinstall the program.

Thanks,
Bill

Search the windows directory on your phone and look for all the files with a .cab extension. I use Total Commander and you can sort by extension. You should see a cab file that has Opera in its name. Re-Run file to Reinstall Opera.

I had this same problem for some time now. I've had 4 phones replaced all with the same problem. The solution I finally figured out. You have to use "file explorer" and open the "Application Data" folder. The click "opera". From here open the "cache4" folder and delete all contents. Soft reset. Hope this helps.

I just wonder what the root cause of this problem is? Seems like it might be a cache issue or something, judging by mulhiny's fix.

That cache folder was empty for me. JZ browser still opens opera mini, IE, skyfire using Mortscript so I'm not sure what the problem is.
