Alltel HTC Touch Youtube and Video Player

Is there a .cab file that will allow me to view Youtube and other videos online?

I downloaded one, but it gave me a error. So instead I deleted the program.

I read something about TCPMP (not sure if that is the right abbrev.). What in the world is that?

Any help would be appreciated.

I have the Alltel HTC Touch and I have Windows Mobile 6.1 (the recent upgrade ).

Thanks,
ApexStang

I went there several times yesterday. Did it again this morning and downloaded

tcpmp.pocketpc.0.72RC1.cab

When I go to my programs menu and try to open the program I get this error message:

Crash
Unexpected program failure. Please send "crash.txt" to the developers. Program will now exit.

This is the same error I keep getting. I have downloaded it from a couple different sites as well. Can anyone give me the 411 on this?

Thanks,
Eric

Anybody know why I get the "crash.txt" error from the TCPMP download? Still can't run Youtube!

Tcpmp will only work if your using internet explorer and the one that worked for wm6 wont work for wm6.1. you can find one that will on several freeware sites. my favorite one iv used is this one that iv attached all you need to do is unzip the file then transfer the two .cabs to your phone. run the HTCYouTubeQVGA-official.cab first then the albumvideofix.cab then soft reset and it will be in your programs folder. try it out and I bet you'll like it.

I'm getting the same error. I have a Youtube app and fix you can try. I'll attach it here. It doesn't work on a stock rom. worked for me on dcd 3.2.6 and its not working on 3.3.4

I had the same problem with TCPMP. To get it to work First install TCPMP, the install flash video bundle. Then soft reset. I don't know why but it has to be done in thatorder. I used to get te same error, now I'm fine. Also what version are you running?

Naw. HTC YouTube app is the best. In my opinion anyways.
