need help with new sd card
 

i just got a new micro sd card for my touch. how do i transfer everything from my old card to my new card?

What I did was made a folder on my computer and copied all to it.

Then copied all to new SD card and inserted into Touch.

Periodically I copy all files/folders from the SD card to that folder as a backup.

you can do this by either tethering to the pc (easiest) or removing the card and having it read on the pc. i would tether via usb or bluetooth cause the file transfer is something you will do on regular basis.

i got a kingston 8gb today. my phone reads that it is there. my phone will not connect via activsync. whin i put the sd card into the usb adapter to load stuff directley to the card it does not read as a card being there. when i put my 2gb card in the adapter it reads just fine. i did a search but didnt have any luck. anyideas?

I think you need an updated driver for the HC cards. I just bought a new card reader when I got my 4GB card awhile ago. Let me see what I can find.

no, it's a hotfix that you install to your pc.

im waiting for it to send it to me. is it something that runs automatically or does it go in a certian location
