screen turning on every 5 minutes or so

i recently noticed that my phone will come out of standby every 5 minutes or so, sit with the screen on for about a minute, then turn back off. i've tried soft resetting, but it keeps doing it. the screen is locked so nothing gets pushed, but i don't want it draining the battery any more than it has to.
any ideas?
thanks

backup, hard reset. bet that works. all your settings for mail and such are the same, no changes?

Re: screen turning on every 5 minutes or so

well, i watched it when it turned on and it seemed weatherbug did something really quick as the screen was turning on. i disabled the weatherbug today plugin and it stopped turning on. then i reenabled it and it hasn't done it since.... so i may have figured out my own problem :P no idea exactly what that would have done or why it would have done it, but hey, a fix is a fix i guess...
now i'll just cross my fingers that it doesn't turn on as soon as i hit "post reply" ;)
