Updating Rom Help
 

Ok so im trying to update my rom on my vogue. I have cokeman 2.31 already installed. I've tried both the stock rom from sprint/ htc and the diamond rom from this forum. Both go into bootloader, say to press power button to start install, then a bar on the pda finishes and says update complete, while the update bar on the computer stays at 0%. Then it says ERROR (260) Connection.

- I've tried it both on my vista computer and my xp computer. same problem.

what I'm I missing here? thanks for the help.

I too am having the same problem. I am trying to update the ALLTEL ROM and during the process my phone get the Red Blue Green White Bars and is say USB at the bottom. But the I can hear the sound on the computer that the device disconncets. A few minutes later the same error you get comes up. I have to hit the reset on the phone and it comes back up to normal. I have the advance connection checked and unchecked. Anyone have some advice?

**UPDATE **

I just tried to update the wifes phone and I get the same result.
I have rebooted the computer several times. and I am the ADMIN
Reset the phones several times also.
Downloaded the software over.

I used my XP machine and got a good Flash... My next question is why does my connection say rA now? I used to get a 1x of EV...
