From the things I read the Hd isn't coming to the US and even if it does there isn't supposed to be a cdma version. Now that being said, pro's and coon's on the diamond vs touch is all a matter of opinion I was holding out for the prothen just recently decided that I would like to keep the touch just because its so much easier on the pockets...for me anyway. I know that this isn't exactly the pro vs con that you were looking for but it's my two cents.

what about software,hardware..
but thanks for your input.. it helps. .i seen the touch pro i think with the slide out key board, and its hella big.. i like the size of the touch ( i have now ) but the cpu and ram i think should have more power!! ( my 2 cents. lol ):violent2:

i have had the same thought in my mind (as i would also like to upgrade).. i am leaning more towards the diamond.. (cons: no sd card support, limited to the 4gigs built in, no keyboard, no video output).. i really like the touch pro (cons: size)

so far i am just about sold on the diamond because of size..

it has a microsd card (4 GB) its just built into the phone and you can't (without extensive modifications) take it out and yes it does have wifi

i should have gone to htc before i posted but i was shocked that the diamond does not have removable sd. i guess that does not really matter but the sd card for me was back to days of when that was the only way to get data on and off the phone and now that is not limited by sd card. the hd looks to have better specs anyways but another thread showed that one is not going to be an option for us in usa. but going from 8gb back to 4 seems going in the wrong direction.
