Internet Sharing problem issue???
 

When i connect to my laptop and use the internet sharing, it freezes after like 10, 15, 30minutes are so. It's randomly on how long it last. I would have to disconnect and reconnect again, sometime i have to reset the touch. Does anyone have the same problem or know how to fix this problem?

it could be a problem with the phone, ive never had that problem actually. but then again, im connecting to a desktop, so maybe its an overload between the two devices

I've hooked my touch to 2 different laptops for internet sharing and never had this problem. I would first start with the phone.

i just updated my rom to the lasted and now i cant even connect as a modem to my laptop. is this because of the new rom? is there a way to fix this or you have to flash back to the old rom? thanks

If you are using the official new rom, internet sharing does not work. You need to do a new set of registry mods, the old ones won't work. But after the the new mods internet sharing will work. Do a search, the mods have been discussed a million times and I'm sure there are a few cabs too. You could always get a custom rom with it already enabled.

There really needs to be a sticky with ways to get the GPS and ICS working after the ROM update.

Ive had this issue with my touch ALOT. seriously i think its the phone. Ive had my phone replaced twice because of this issue.
