Wm 6.1 Camera Quality Issue
 

I just flashed to the new Alltel WM 6.1 rom, and everything's working well (and in most cases, much faster). There's only a few issues that I need help with.

1. The camera quality is TERRIBLE compared to WM 6.0. Is this just my phone or is it the same across the board?

2. Sometimes after loading a game, the phone gets ReALLY slow. I had to soft reset to make it speed up again.

Is there any way to fix these issues? Thanks in advance!!

im not sure about the game issue but i do know that the camera sucks in general.

I think the games I had weren't compatible with Wm 6.1. Most of my games just caused the phone to slow down to a crawl, and it won't stop until I soft reset...

But, until further notice, I guess I'll just keep them backed up on my laptop.

I know some games when you close them... they don't close properly and eat away at your memory. Same thing happens with opera.

Back on the camera story it is SHOCKINGLY bad. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the 6.0 camera. The 6.1 camera seems to have gone back about 3 generations. The zoom feature is nice, but it is not taking anything like 1MP pictures. I can't recall the actual resolution at the moment, but they are absolutely terrible - barely better than nothing at all.

Hopefully a better camera will be forthcoming from HTC.

I hope so... my camera quality really is bad. It didn't change when I flashed back to the stock rom either (not unless I flashed to a 6.1 rom and didn't know it).

Whats the lighting like when you use your camera? Indoors is always crappy. Outside in like sunlight seems to be quite better.
Yeah Dotfred's taskmanager can close them.. but sometimes games (like pocketsand) can't even be killed in taskmanager.
