I want manilla 2d but I do not have insurance on my phone
 

I have had the phone for about 2-3 weeks now and just wanted to know if messing with the rom is safe and reversible?

if you don't have insurance then you can't take it back anyways... can you? but yeah, if you put in a custom rom, and later you decide to revert it, it's doable. Just download the official Sprint Rom from HTC and run the executable. that should do it

ok now that I have all this, how do I install it? that link seems to be for non htc phones

If you use the XDATeam manilla it doesn't require a flashed ROM. I am running on the stock ROM and couldn't be happier. If you have a problem, you just deactivate the Today plugin and take it in for services. Not everything requries a new ROM.

once you read the instructions you download the .cab file from there you do the following

1. you store the .cab file on your desktop
2.sync your phone via active sync
3.once you have done step 2 you drag the .cab to my documents on your phone
4.from here you go program>file expl>my documents>then double click the .cab you just loaded to your phone it will install
5.soft reset
6.maybe go to settings>personal>today>items and make sure touchFLO is checked


thats pretty much the step by step process...

Do this with all .cab files....
