Please Help; Phone Stuck at Screen Lock
 

hello,
had my sprint touch [vogue] for just under a year
and the night before last, my screen was acting slow in response..
so as the night goes on, my phone gets stuck in the 'screen lock'
and the screen isnt working; i couldnt make calls or txt just recieve them.. [couldnt look at the txts]; hard buttons work.

ive tried a soft reset, and taken the battery out
[multiple times] there arent any roms or anything of that nature..

any suggestions?


and i wasnt able to save my contacts to my pc, so im
worried about the hard reset..

are you running the new rom?my screen is acting up but i clear all the cookies and it does ok.

i think its the touch diamond clock..
downloaded it a while ago, not sure anymore.

I would bet it's a software conflict. The best thing to do is uninstall one program after another untill the problem goes away. That way you will know what piece of software to avoid, and start looking for a replacement app.

how will i uninstall..
the screen isnt working at all
just the hard buttons, it seem.

This same thing happened to me, try hitting the "unlock" button on the screen above and below where the button is

what happened to me is it got uncalibrated, then recalibrated later somehow (happened all the time) haven't had a problem like that since i upgraded to the diamond

through the computer?


can't use active sync neither..

Sounds like a hard reset is the only way to get it unlocked. :(

it didnt work.. this phone is urking me lls
now the screen is stuck at the "align screen" screen


i just have to find a way to the sprint store..
