Touch phone as a modem persistent problem!!!
 

i have had an htc touch going on a good bit now. i am still having this same issue that i posted before, when i set up my internet connection threw i.s. within five minutes i am kicked off and have to connect again if it will even stay connected. i have tried the stock carrier rom and multiple custom roms, nothing seems to help. my computer uses windows vista, does anyone know if it could be a phone as a modem driver issue and if so where to get them. any ideas tips anything at this point would help. i really appreciate everyones help on this forum.

I also use vista and only encountered this problem 1 time. I since then have been running custom "many" ROM and have not had a issue I think because the Internet sharing fix is included in most custom ROMs.

what rom are you using that works and i tried the internet sharing fix cab and still nothing

The ROM I use is made by a banned member nfsfan you can find it at : http://ppchaven.com/ you have to register which is free then you go to premium content and its under nfsfan freedom of creation. Also there are many ROMs on here that are tethering safe.
