Changing Keyboard

What am I doing wrong?

Re: Changing Keyboard

Did you go to Menu/Setting/Input and change the Imput Method: to what you want?

Re: Changing Keyboard

I get to the point where it says Input Method and select something from drop down box but there is no enter or select button so it just goes back to default
I hate this phone

Try SIPChange. The cab is around here. It forces your selection.

It is, without a doubt, the most buggy phone/PDA I've ever used. I miss my Moto Q more than ever. Without a true qwerty keyboard...what's the point?
Sending any kind of email, text becomes a major project where I end up swearing at the damn thing. I wanted to love this thing...but I don't. I'm not giving up just yet though...

yeah don't give up there is help and there is great people out there willing to help there are larger keyboards out there that are easier to use...but that being said the phone is buggy and hardware keyboards rock.

Try touch pal and learn to use it. Though it isn't as fast as a pc keyboard with all ten fingers. It is the fastest thing I have used with one thumb. Even faster with two thumbs. I will try to find a link for you.

Maybe a bigger keyboard would help me too. My old *** is used to the buttons on the Q.

Did you install the correct version? There are different builds for WM6 and 6.1

I was working on a co-workers Vogue recently. He knows nothing about tweaking/customizing etc & was ready to throw the phone in the garbage.

I installed Resco Pro KB, Gullum Diamond T9 KB & SPB Full Screen KB for him & he was raving yesterday about what a fantastic difference it made for him.

Look in the menu. There are selections for: [] predict next word
[] disable word prediction

Try unchecking the first and checking the last.
