HTC Touch from Sprint to Verizon
Ok.. I got a HTC Touch (Sprint) at no cost from my Brother because of switching companies. I currently have a Verizon service and i would like to activate this phone with them. Is there a way to do so? I assume is pretty difficult been a CDMA Phone.
Any ideas? |
Re: HTC Touch from Sprint to Verizon
This seems to be the question of the day:) I just recently switched my HTC Touch from Sprint to Alltel doing this procedure. You shouldnt have an issue doing this with Verizon either. I hear Verizon is much more lenient in hooking up phones from other providers.

Re: HTC Touch from Sprint to Verizon
ive done it, im using mine right now.
i bought a bad esn sprint 6900 on ebay a few months ago. I took my phone that i was using on the verizon network (a 6700) and copied all the info down. You definetly want the ESN off the 6700 and alot more. Sorry i havnt done this in awhile... hell i havnt even had my vogue hooked up to my pc in awhile so im forgetting what i did exactly. You need QXDM and QPST to access your phone to copy down as many settings as posible. then you switch phones and put all that info onto the vogue. |

Re: HTC Touch from Sprint to Verizon
njkid32,
I followed up your instructions in how to use mu Sprint HTC Touch on the Verizon Network:
Can I use the current Sprint ROM after all the changes and just call Verizon to activate the phone? |
Re: HTC Touch from Sprint to Verizon
I would say your all set and ready to go. Just make sure your codes work properly. I'm sure they are going to ask you to go into your programing ##3424. If for some reason that does not work for you just go into your windows folder and run EPST.ink and that will get you to the place they will want you to be.
