Which com to work Garmin TX??!
 

Can anyone tell me on which com do I need to put my device so that the internal GPS works with Garmin XT? I'm still not sure if I have the internal gps working. I dont know anything about ROMS and customizing. I did one update so I'm at ROM version 3.03.651.4 and Radio version 3.42.30. Do i have the internal gps working? if so how can I put it to work with the Garmin. Because it is trying to syc via bluetooth to and external GPS.

Try com 4 that's what I have mine set on.

Set it to com4 ...Still doesnt work. Do I need an intermediate driver or something like the AstroGPSLauncher or something like that?

You might need a pre gps lock thing(not sure what its called), itll let you lock onto satellites faster.

I use AstroGPSLauncher, and I also know of QuickGPS, which works just as well.

Manifest3r, I've heard/read them referred to as 'primers' most frequently in this site. Gps Viewer is also a good/quick one.

But the Garmin XT doesn't need one. The comm should be set to 4... I have read on some sites, not having a licensed copy will give you that type of behavior (only look for blue tooth). Not that I ever had that problem my self... Just Google the error message and you should find the solution.

You need to go to "settings" "system" "remote GPS" and select the "intermediate driver" If you do not have that selection it means you bought a version that had an external Garmin GPS. If you did then there is no legal way they will let you use the internal GPS without buying the software again. I know from experience.

Intermediate driver is the only one that works for me.

When I open the garmin it autmoatically enables the Bluetooth.. and my carier is Sprint. I tried previously to use the AstroGPSLauncher with a tomtom version that i had but it didt worked for me.. Im gonna try it with the garmin to see if it works. if not then maybe anyone can give me the link or torrent for a good version that works. Thanks in advance
