So they left GPS unlocked (unlike the 3.35 ROM) but didn't do the aGPS? Can anyone else confirm? I may flash to it just because of the occasional roaming mode my phone goes into.

Yeah, it's nice to finally have gps. I really haven't started messing around with it. Trying to reinstall and reconfigure. It does come with the opera 8.65 browser installed.

I am getting a status icon I have never seen before after upgrading to the new ROM on my Alltel PPC 6800. It looks like this: "rA" a small "r" with a capital "A".

Does anyone know what it means?

Quick question. Does this include a radio upgrade? For instance, I have a titan that is on the original stock ROM and radio (1.somethingorother) from a year ago. Can I flash directly to this or do I need to upgrade the radio to a newer version? I'm used to cooking ROMs, never upgraded to an "official" one before!

You can flash directly to this. I think includes the 3.42.50 radio.
