USB doesn't work after Upgrade - HELP!
Used Vogue_unlocker_MFG_2.31.exe to unlock device,
Upgraded radio with RUU_PPST_Vogue_SPRINT_WWE_3.03.651.2_Radio_3.42.30 _AM_NV_2.04_Ship.exe Used a PPCKitchen base ROM to upgrade ROM. After Flashing, the unit would hang at 2nd splash image. And no USB support. Upgraded ROM successfully using SDCard and OMJ's custom Verizon ROM. Everything now works ... EXCEPT USB !!!! If I boot into the boot loader. It says: VOGUE100 MFG SPL-2.31.COKE CPLD-3 and in the white bar at the bottom it says Serial It does not switch to USB when plugged into PC. I think I must have corrupted a USB driver somewhere, but don't know how to fix. Unit will also not charge battery. Have to charge battery in basestation. Please HELP. |

Re: USB doesn't work after Upgrade - HELP!
Tried that, didn't work.
I think it is a lower level issue than that. USB should work at the bootloader level. What I am wondering is if my Kitchen ROM corrupted some USB driver that is installed with either the unlocker or the radio code. If so, then perhaps starting over and re-flashing the unlocker, and then re-flashing the radio, and then use the ROM I am using now, might fix the problem? Would like to get some expert advice before I do all this again. |

Personally, I've re-flashed well over 500 times in the past seven months and I've never had this happen. If you're convinced that the USB hardware is working properly, then head over to the chat room and one of the on-call team might be able to offer some expert advice. If it is the HW port, then it broke during the reflash. Tried 2 PCs and 2 cables.
Thanks for the feedback. |
