New Touch User Here!
 

I got myself a Touch. Its a bit of a long story but I will make it short. I had 4 Alltel 6800's (again long story), 1 of which I swaped to a female friend for her touch because she liked the slide out keyboard due to the fact she is a texting fool. I had to return one more of my 6800's leaving me with two. I have been loading and reloading them with new roms and ect... Its been great im really learning alot esp cus im not worried about bricking em lol. The touch is taking some getting use to. T9 and I are not seeing eye to eye just yet. Its a really sweet device and im really looking forward to loading some custom roms and ect on it. So far I must say I like it the touch is a sweet device. Well i really just wanted to say hey to all the touch users and express my excitement over my new Touch.

Welcome....
but I could never give up my Mogul for my Touch full time.
Touch is cool in short doses. No WiFi....

I couldn't agree more. I had a Mogul and swapped it out for the Diamond until the Touch Pro comes out. Whenever I text or e-mail I keep telling myself, "just until the 3rd week of October".

It's all a matter of opinion...I have a Black Berry Curve and the Touch, and I find myself retyping and editing on the Black Berry more than I do my Touch. Just takes some perseverance to get accustomed to the On-Screen Keyboard.

go get youself a copy of TouchPal keyboard and put it on your touch,, once you get used to it,, it is just as fast and easy as the keyboard on the mogul... I promise,,,
the touch has more memory too,, so doing things like tabbed browsing and using other apps at the same time is no longer a no no,,,

and hey,, wifi isnt all that great,, I never never never never never used the wifi on my titan... my alltel broadband was fast enough to do what I do,,...
