text message alerts only when screen turned on
 

Hey guys. not sure if anyone else is having this problem. randomly when my phone is on but the screen is off, my text messages are not coming through. WHen i turn the screen on by tapping the top button on the phone, all the text messages alert me. these text messages show the time i turned the screen on, not the time i really received them. anyone have an idea how to fix this, or why its occurring. I am using SPb phone suite, HTC Home not sure if its a glitch in either of these programs as well. ANy and all responses are greatly appreciated.
