that's rubbish, i would like to easily record my customer service calls so I can use them against them!

It is legal to record calls in Ontario, Canada, and you do not need to tell anyone you are doing it, if you are a party to the call.

the old kitchens had a oem that could record calls... i just cant remember the name of it

i have read on some sites that it's a hardware limitation ... so no recording is possible...

Just wanted to add that recording calls is legal in all of Canada if you are the one placing the call or the one that is being called. You do not have to notify the other party/parties.

weird request from you Bonram considering you started a thread on an in-call recording software yourself not long ago.. did it not work after all?

From that thread you stated it worked on any of Vitos ROM but your on NFSFANs ROM, 1.29 to be exact have you tried his new 1.31, maybe that corrected the issue of permissions..

And in regards to in-call legalities, in Canada it may be fine, here in the US a disclaimer of the recording must be stated as without it any recorded voice without proper paperwork and legal writs would be worthless for using in court against anyone anyway

i asked that question in sep. i made this thread in march. i never got it to work on any rom. who cares if it is not admissible in some us jurisdictions. doesnt affect people outside of those bounds, and recordings calls is not limited to holding them against someone legally.
