best diamond manila based rom ?
 

ive seen so many out there, what rom would make my touch look and act like the diamond the most ?

are you looking for touchflo3d or the manilla2d as the base? they seem so similar NexVision updated his rom to manilla2d and its pretty smooth not too buggy and its what i use...so i was just giving you my two cents for what its worth...at first i was running NFSFAN's rom and just put the manilla2d program onit and it ws snappy also imho....

im looking for manila2d i assume. i have the standard sprint 6.1 rom with touchflo now and it's pretty good. i just want my touch to look and act as much like the diamond as it can.

for what its worth, i have tried nexvisions and the diamond rom with xda manilla 2d. both were still very buggy for me. i am a nOOB and cant do much tweaking yet. for example, the music tab on both versions did not work at all for me, among other things. and i could not get anyone at xda to help me! i am sure those people have worked very hard on there roms and cabs but like i said, i am a nOOb so they did not work out for me.

I am using WDM's rom and I just added the touchflo2d cab version 9 along with the htc youtube cab and the touchflo2d audiomanager and everything works really well. The youtube app actually plays the videos.

If you go this rout make sure you add the windows live cab so that you can sinc your email accounts.

Just wait a week or so, a lot of manila roms out lately. One is bound to stand apart the rest.

Using Nexvision's latest ROM and it is the best I have tried so far. It's working so good, I don't think I will even try any others. Youtube app works perfectly with no fixes, and it's the newer looking Youtube app. The music page plays fine, the only thing is when you change songs, you have to switch pages and then back to music for the correct song to display. Everything else works perfectly for me. The only thing I changed was adding the digital clock like the diamond has. One Sweet ROM I must say!

I am using NexVision's ROM as well. It is much better than his previous releases (they were close, but can't match the Manilla2D frame rate).

Are you talking about using "NextVision's Throttle Manilla" ?
If not... can you link the correct rom for his Manilla2D port?

You can always make a manila rom in the kitchen. Like everyone else does :)
